Small "L" brackets are
bolted to the frame of the truck - and base rails are installed in the
bed. Least expensive, but weakens the truck frame with the added
drilling. Only half the bolts in the base rails are transferring
trailer weight to the frame - half are just attached to the sheet
metal in the bed. |
