How to Use the Quick Select Chart

Find the tow vehicle and size at left and the trailer size and GTW along the top. 
Where the boxes meet, you'll find the types of hitches that will work for that combination.

CAUTION: Class I Hitches are not to be used for tandem axle trailers, horse trailers or house-type travel trailers regardless of weight.

Tongue Weight

Tongue weight should be
about 10 to 15 percent 
of gross trailer weight.
